Sakura Park

Sakura Park is located in Erbil on Airport Road, right next to the Toyota showroom. Opened in 2016 by Sardar Group, the park was established as a symbol of friendship between Japan and the Kurdistan Region, and as a tribute to the Peshmerga forces. It is famous for its beautiful Japanese Sakura (cherry blossom) trees, making it a peaceful and scenic spot for walking, relaxing, and professional photography (especially for newlywed couples).
